Families pay their insurance premiums year after year — only to hear “not covered” when they need help most. Survivors and families seeking justice find the rules have changed in ways that protect corporations, not people.

We can change that — together.

Voices of Families for Justice (VFJ) is a growing national movement of families, survivors, advocates, and attorneys working to amplify stories about real families and people because these stories hold power. VFJ is a nonprofit, nonpartisan social welfare organization dedicated to being a watchdog for ordinary people and demanding a system that is transparent, accountable, and centered on people, not power.

We are families and advocates from every walk of life who believe that our laws should protect people first.

We work to make sure the promises of safety, accountability, and access to justice are kept — not quietly rewritten by corporate lobbyists or hidden behind fine print and NDAs.

VFJ brings families’ real stories to the public to empower the people and demand accountability from policy and lawmakers.

We amplify the stories of parents, survivors, and citizens to show what access to justice looks like — and who suffers when it is denied.

Educate and Inform

Through digital campaigns and public outreach, we make sense of complex laws, fine print, and policies so families can see clearly how decisions affect them and where big lobbying dollars are being spent to change laws.

Promote Transparency

We shine a light on the real impact of corporate influence, so that public policy reflects people’s needs, not special interests.

VFJ connects families, advocates, and firms across the country to create a united voice for justice, fairness, and truth.

Why It Matters

Big corporations and insurance lobbying efforts to change to civil laws to reduce access to justice have left families in crisis — with fewer rights, less recourse, and growing mistrust in the system.
